We are a one-of-a-kind marketplace, carefully curated and built keeping in mind guests' current and changing needs, along with tapping into futuristic market trends.The Partner Acquisition team drives the expansion of theTarget.comcatalog by growing the matrix of sellers on Target Plus. The team works closely with Category Management, On-boarding and Operations, Site Experience, and Item to ensure all partners added meet or exceed expectations of what it means to be a Partner selling goods on Target Plus. The team also works hand in hand with enterprise teams such as Legal, Vendor Risk Management, Business Partnerships and Negotiations, Insurance, and Responsible Sourcing to ensure that our partners meet Target’s standards and are competitive within the evolving landscape of online marketplaces. The Sr. Analyst, New Business will drive business fueled by data and analytics to deliver new business GMV, Productivity & Profitability goals from new partners and grow overall market share.As the Senior Business Analyst, your mission will be to deliver the New Business GMV goal by tracking New Partners and applying multiple levers to drive business for Target Plus.
  • Business and Category expertise:Support partners under new business using your category expertise fueled by planning, strategizing and data analytics to deliver new business GMV & profit goals, grow market share and guest satisfaction for your category.  
  • New Partner Launch & Growth success: Partner status and assortment tracking for Partner in Onboarding and beyond. Identifying any challenges/delays, highlight them in right forums and address them with CFT support to set the partner up for success.
  • Stakeholder Management:You will work closely locally and globally across our Digital team CFT’s like Partner onboarding, Partner services, website experience, Enterprise item etc. to identify key levers and opportunity areas to make a partner journey successful on target plus. 
  • Partner Communication & Management: Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly recaps on Business and Inventory Health to partners. Propose potential solutions and actively engage in managing partner relationships.

About you:
  • Master's degree in business management or equivalent educational qualification
  • 5+ years in Sales or Business/Category management using digital applications or ecommerce experience in merchandising operations or inventory management and developing strong business relationships with sellers/vendors. 
  • Strong analytical, forecasting, problem solving, decision-making and detail orientation
  • Ability to manage large data sets and interpret data
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with strong strategy, planning, and organizational skills
  • Ability to build and maximize relationships with partners, both internal and external
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organizational and analytical skills. Ability to multi-task and work within a rapidly changing environment.
  • Expert in Microsoft Excel, DOMO, Tableau, and other data tools
