Target’s Engineering Manager Immersion Program (eMIP) is 12 months of on-the-job training to prepare lead-level engineers for future leadership roles. Combining both hands-on engineering and leadership skill-building, eMIP offers a real-world development experience like no other.

To help fulfill Target’s commitment to building diverse teams, eMIP focuses on groups who are historically underrepresented in technology and engineering fields.

As a member of the eMIP cohort, you’ll receive: Individualized support from your executive sponsor, peer mentor, manager, advisory board and cohort Curated curriculum and training on leadership principles On-the-job experience sharing time equally between work and leadership development The benefit of an immersive, year-long experience designed to prepare you for a Senior Engineering Manager role on one of Target’s technology teams.
